Sonia Choquette

Sonia Choquette: A third generation intuitive and prolific writer, Sonia Choquette's books have sold over a million copies worldwide including her NY Times Bestseller The Answer Is Simple.... Love Yourself, Live Your Spirit.

In working with people for more than 32 years, Sonia insists that the sixth sense is natural to us all. Whether it’s those “hunches” or “feelings” or “vibes,” everyone has them, but unfortunately most people dismiss or ignore them and sadly miss the benefits. With the onset of the changing world we now live in, Sonia emphasizes that using our intuition is “no longer optional. Working with and strengthening our intuition is becoming more and more fundamental to our ability to live harmoniously with ourselves and others in the new world order.”

Paying attention to the sixth sense, learning to listen, to trust it, to train oneself to call on its guidance, these are the challenges facing six-sensory people trapped in a five-sensory culture.

Grandmother Mona says:

Indigenous people have come through a time of great struggle, a time of darkness. The way I look at it is like the nature of a butterfly. In the cocoon, a place of darkness, the creature breaks down into a fluid and then a change, a transformation, takes place. When it is ready and in its own time, it begins to move and develop a form that stretches and breaks away from this cocoon and emerges into this world, into life, as a beautiful creature.

We grandmothers, we have emerged from that darkness, see this beauty, see each other and reach out to the world with open arms, with love, hope, compassion, faith and charity.

She has studied Shiatsu, Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy and Massage, but music remains her first love. The influence of Indian classical music is evident in her singing, although she has never attempted to copy or steal from the tradition. "It just comes naturally, as if I'd heard it all before, in another life." Among the numerous letters of appreciation she has received since the release of her albums, many describe how her music has been used to accompany and enhance the sacred passages of birth and death. In fact, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, the world famous author of On Death And Dying, requested that Miten and Deva bring their music to accompany her passing. Beth originated and coined the phrase “The Sisterhood Code”. She has actively worked toward assisting women to move beyond divisive behaviors and, instead, become a more unifying force for change. Her idea that some women possess “the sisterhood gene” has provided a meaningful answer to the “mean girl” dilemma. According to Wilson the “sisterhood gene” can be activated if it isn’t already operating. And waking up the “sisterhood gene” is like waking up a sleeping giant because it makes women less susceptible to the cultural messages that so often strip us of our strength by encouraging us to war with each other instead of joining forces to shaping a new world in partnership with men.

Wilson’s client list includes politicians, celebrities, scholars, royals, Olympians, models, parents, journalists and financial executives. She conducts life coaching sessions over the phone and travels extensively to meet with clients in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe.

Miranda Macpherson

Miranda Macpherson is a contemporary spiritual teacher, counselor and author of the spiritual guidebook Boundless Love (Random House 2002). Miranda has been teaching internationally since 1995 and is known for her depth of presence, clarity, and refined capacity to guide people into direct experience of the sacred.

Miranda’s professional career began in the media. After three years studying communication at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, she came into early success as a television presenter, but was quickly disillusioned by the media machine. At the age of 22 Miranda dedicated herself entirely to further spiritual study and practice, and relocated to the United Kingdom. Within a few years she began a spiritual counseling practice, and has been in full time spiritual service since then.

In her twenties, Miranda completed seminary training in which she studied the world’s spiritual traditions, their distinctions and the universal thread than runs through them all. She was ordained an interfaith minister in 1995 in New York. A year later, she founded the ground breaking educational organization ‘The Interfaith Seminary’ in London, where she was spiritual director for a decade. This was the first seminary training of its kind in Europe, during which she trained and ordained over 1000 students and made a major impact on the spiritual landscape. The work Miranda pioneered made it possible for those outside conventional religious structures to receive quality non-denominational spiritual teachings and support.

During this decade, Miranda created new models for spiritual awakening grounded in universal spiritual principles.

Additionally, Miranda ran a private counseling practice, spoke at conferences and facilitated retreats in renowned centers around the world, particularly at Findhorn in Scotland.

In her thirties, Miranda was graced by a profound nondual awakening in the cave of Ramana Maharshi in India. This silent transmission of pure being beyond mind had a lasting impact on her awareness and changed the orientation of her life and teaching. She handed over the Interfaith Seminary into the leadership of others, to dive deeper into nondual Self Inquiry as embodied by Ramana and other masters within the Advaita lineage. During this time, Miranda moved to the United States.

Miranda’s work today is a synthesis of Self-Inquiry, spiritual psychology, and feminine grace that embraces our everyday human experience as an entry point into the depths of who we truly are. Through a blend of silent transmission and articulate teaching, she leads retreats and offers private sessions oriented towards guiding people into direct experience. Miranda shares from the heart’s wisdom and is a passionate advocate for the true feminine, leading from the ground of unconditional love, compassion, receptivity and surrender. She is currently launching ‘The Feminine Wisdom School’ a new one year program with Lama Palden and Sherry Anderson.

Miranda is based in the San Fransisco bay area, and is currently writing a book on embodied awakening.
